Who?

The story of Phobophobia follows different characters across the story, but the main character of Phobophobia overall is Oscar Yuen, a man who's down on his luck.

What?

Phobophobia is a surreal horror story connected to unlucky six individuals in the same town, all inter-twining with each other till their paths cross. The main in the middle of it all being Oscar Yuen Shui Lian and a greater mystery surrounding him.

Where?

The story of Phobophobia takes place in an abstract version of Earth. A majority of the setting is in the fictionalized municipality, Navel Gryes, of the Western United States.

Why?

Oscar is desperate for a long time job after countless of odd jobs and bills racking up. He has the deeper desire to know when exactly this empty hole in his being will ever be filled, when he'll finally be of worth in society. An incident years ago left him jobless and significantly weaker, all these tragedies just keep stacking up on Oscar.

One day, he gets a mysterious phone call from what would be, Memoria INC, a locally owned big and wealthy company offering him a secret top spot for a job from the CEO and COO themselves, the chance to start a new.

Oscar takes the job offer instantly, what he doesn't know now is that this phone call would suck him in a downward spiral he can never escape from.

When?

The story takes place throughout the years of the 2010s, starting right in the year 2010.
